Q: When should I arrive in Jackson for the event?

A: Thursday afternoon/evening is best, that will give you plenty of time to get checked into your hotel, and clean up your ride for the cruise and dyno shootout

Q: When is the cruise?

A: The cruise is held Friday morning, meets between 9-10 AM, leaving around 10 am ( there is no cost for the cruise)

Q: When is the dyno shootout?

A: The dyno shootout is Friday morning, entrants must be at the facility by 9 am, spectators may arrive whenever they wish after 9 am. The dyno shootout is free to spectate, with only a $5 fee to park in the field below the facility

Q: Is there any cost for the pre meet?

A: The pre meet is an informal gathering to hang out and meet other attendees before the actual event, there is no cost

Q: Is this a family friendly event?

A: Ford Takeover is definitely a family friendly event, there is also a movie theater and indoor trampoline park near the pre meet to keep your kids occupied!

Q: What times are the pre meet?

A: The unofficial start time is 5:00 pm central and it goes until dark, feel free to come and go at your convenience, however.

Q: How much is it to show your car, or to drag race?

A: The standard entry is $20 at the gate per person. To enter the show, or race (test & tune) is an additional $5 (driver/owner only)

Q: What vehicles are allowed to participate in the show/race?

A: Any FORD POWERED vehicle is welcome, Ford vehicles swapped with another brands power plant are prohibited.

Q: Are there trophies, classes, or payouts?

A: There are no classes or trophies for the car show, racing is test & tune style

Q: Do I have to have a Ford to attend?

A: Absolutely not! Spectator parking is on the spectator side of the track, track officials will direct you where to park. Entry for spectators is $20 per person

Q: Will the track be prepped?

A: The track will be prepped and ready for whatever you can throw at it. There will also be air, electricity plug ups, and race gas available.

Q: I want to set up a vendor or swap meet booth, what do I need to do?

A: Booth space is limited, to purchase a spot, email caleb@thefoxcast.com the cut off date to buy space is June 10th

Q: What type of track is Jackson Dragway?

A: Jackson Dragway is an 1/8th mile drag strip. You may run Pro or Bracket tree, as well as run N/T if you prefer. Stay tuned for the official rules for the class racing
